Nimest attended another event in September 2019. This time, Startup combines Augmented Reality with Artificial Intelligence and 3D mapping for application on a tourism platform, where the user lives a historical and cultural experience, told by famous characters from the region he is visiting, he was present at the Hack Town of Santa Rita do Sapucaí, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Hack Town is a festival of creativity and innovation, and this year, in its 5th edition, it had more than 600 activities such as talks, showcases, debates, mentoring, exhibitions and workshops, bringing together great ecosystem players, professionals from different areas and people interested in expanding knowledge and staying on top of what happens most disruptive, transformative and impactful in the country and the world. Among the numerous events, the highlight was the launch of a 5G test network.
At the events of September 6th, Nimest Founder Carlos Morais participated in the panel “Creative City, Happy City”, giving, with the help of Augmented Reality resources, a lecture on the theme for the participants. The panel also discussed topics such as innovation, startups and immersive technologies. To close Nimest’s participation in Hack Town 2019, on Saturday, the 7th, the cofounder, Fernando Vilela, made the presentation of Pitch, taking the 3rd place in the general presentations.
Nimest is currently preparing to launch its platform, scheduled for the end of October 2019, where tourists will be able to interact with characters such as Fernando Pessoa, Dom João VI, among others, and learn a little more about the culture from them and know the most interesting places. All of this using Augmented Reality to deliver a unique experience at your fingertips.
