On October 15 and 16, 2019, Nimest attended the 10th Global Mobile Broadband Forum, hosted by Huawei, with support from GSMA and GTI industry partners in Zurich, Switzerland.
During the event, Nimest Tech, featured among the top 20 Global Startups for 5G technology, had the opportunity to showcase its application to information and communication technology industry leaders and elites from around the world. Startup is in the advanced stages of developing an Augmented Reality platform aimed at the Tourism market, where it will recreate a number of important characters from world history who will serve as guides, narrating details about sights, local culture and curiosities. In addition to the Tourist Platform, Nimest is investing in technology to further embark on content production for a variety of other areas, such as education and museums.
According to Huawei Vice President Ken Hu, discussions at the forum this year focused on the future of mobile connectivity, including future industry trends since the introduction of 5G, the Internet of Things and the mobile broadband industry. Other focuses of discussion will include artificial intelligence, cloud-based augmented and virtual reality, vehicle Internet, and robots.
